Kandy Roar is a non-binary Indigenous artist from Ontario, currently residing in Vancouver, BC. 'Alter Ego' Kandy Roar was born out of a need to create art and cultivate joy. Ironically, the themes they cover are over on the dark side. Kandy Roar is inspired by blues legends Koko Taylor, Robert Johnson, and moved by the glam rock uprising from the early 70s brought about by the work of Marc Bolan.
